Purda Szczycieńska ( German Purda , 1933 to 1945 Lindenort Ost ) is a local office in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and is located in the Gmina Szczytno (rural municipality Ortelsburg ) in the powiat Szczycieński ( Ortelsburg district ).

The local office of Purda Szczycieńska, which is no longer shown separately, is located in the southern center of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , 16 kilometers southeast of the district town of Szczytno ( Ortelsburg in German ).

Until 1945 Purda was a residential area of the municipality of Lipowitz (1933 to 1945 Lindenort , Lipowiec in Polish ) in the East Prussian district of Ortelsburg . It was a small village with a windmill ; in 1905 it had 306 inhabitants in 54 houses. In connection with the renaming of the mother community Lipowitz to "Lindenort", Purda received the place name "Lindenort Ost" on May 31, 1933 for political and ideological reasons.

After the transfer of all of southern East Prussia to Poland in 1945 as a result of the war, Lindenort Ost was given the Polish name “Purda Szczycieńska”. It is not known whether and how long the place was perhaps even independent. Today Purda Szczycieńska is no longer listed by name and is considered to have been absorbed in Lipowiec .

Purda resp. Lindenort Ost until 1945 oriented towards Lipowitz or Lindenort - both Protestant and Catholic. Today the church affiliation corresponds to that of the mother parish Lipowiec.

The local office of Purda Szczycieńska is today in the southeast of the village Lipowiec.
