Design

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As design is called in architecture the appearance or the basic design or spatial concept of a building or component . The name aims at a building typological classification, i.e. the classification of a building in a certain category or group of buildings.

The design is an expression of the respective culture, their way of life and the availability of building materials.

In contrast to the design design, the technical construction of a building describes the building materials and technologies used in the construction (differentiated e.g. according to the supporting structure and assembly of the components).
