The Bausbach , also Bauschbach , is a 3.76 km long right tributary of the Riveris in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Trier-Saarburg with a catchment area of 7.455 km².

The Bausbach rises at a height of about 439  m above sea level. NHN in the north of Osburg .

It then forms the boundary between Osburg and Waldrach and finally flows into Waldrach at an altitude of about 184  m above sea level. NHN from the right into the Riveris.

Tributaries

A right tributary of the Bausbach is the approximately two kilometer long Rotelbach (GKZ 2656886), which at Thomm at about 390  m above sea level. NHN rises and at Waldrach at about 214  m above sea level. NHN flows . There is an abandoned slate pit in the lower Rotelbachtal .

A left tributary of the Rotelbach is the approximately 400 meter long Rothhellengraben, which is about 400  m above sea level. NHN rises , runs on the boundary of Osburg and Thomm and at about 340  m above sea level. NHN flows .

Other tributaries of the Bausbach are the Reissbach / Osburgbach (GKZ 26568829) from the left and the Schiefergraben (GKZ 2656884) from the right, as well as other smaller bodies of water.
