The Bave is a river in France that runs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises at the summit Buron de Jugnaux in the mountains of the Cézallier , in the municipality of Anzat-le-Luguet , generally drains in an easterly direction through the Regional Nature Park Volcans d'Auvergne and flows after 22 kilometers at the hamlet of Brugeilles in the municipality of Torsiac as a left tributary in the Alagnon . On its way the Bave crosses the departments of Puy-de-Dôme and Haute-Loire and forms the border to the neighboring department of Cantal over a length of about 6 km .
