The class C , later C II , was a locomotive of the Bavarian Eastern Railway .

These machines were the first C-coupled vehicles in Bavaria with an external frame. In addition, they had a Stephenson control and, since the last axle was driven, a very long drive rod with a Hall crank . Due to their large wheel diameter, they could also be used for passenger trains. The locomotives had a Schlepptender provided of the type T 3. 9
