Beate Schlupp
Beate Schlupp (born May 23, 1965 in Neustrelitz ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She has been a member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state parliament since 2002 .
Life
Schlupp graduated from high school in 1983 and then studied until 1987 at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University in Greifswald and then at the University of Leipzig in chemistry and education, specializing in Russian and English. Because of her daughter's illness, she said she was forced to drop out of university in 1987. In 1988 she began to work as a clerk for self-employed businesspeople in the business consultancy in Zwickau . From 1990 she began a distance learning course to become a " state-certified business economist for wholesale and foreign trade", and from 1992 she began a full-time retraining as a bank clerk . She started to work at Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Greifswald at the Anklam location . After Schlupp had passed the trainer aptitude test at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce , she became a training officer.
Schlupp is non-denominational, divorced and has two children. She has been in a relationship with the state parliament member Egbert Liskow since at least 2013 .
politics
Schlupp was a member of the CDU local executive committee in Jatznick and the CDU district executive committee of Uecker-Randow . For a time she was a member of the board of the Women's Union of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and an arbitrator in the Uecker-Randow-Tal area.
In the state elections in 2002, she entered the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the first time, and in 2006 she was able to repeat this with the direct mandate in constituency 36 - Uecker-Randow II . She was also directly elected in the 2011 state elections. In the state elections in 2016 she was defeated in her constituency, but entered parliament via the state list.
Schlupp has been the first vice-president of the state parliament since 2011 .
