Bedřich Šupčík (born  October 22, 1898 in Vienna , †  July 11, 1957 in Písek ) was a Czechoslovak gymnast .

He won a gold medal in rope climbing at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 1924 , making him the first Olympic champion in Czechoslovakia, which emerged after the First World War . His winning time on a rope length of eight meters was 7.2 seconds.

In addition, he finished third in the individual all-around at these games. Four years later he won the silver medal in the team all-round match with the Czechoslovak team at the 1928 Games in Amsterdam . In ring gymnastics he reached fifth place in 1924 and sixth in 1928, and ninth place on parallel bars in 1924.

On the rings he was also runner-up at the World Gymnastics Championships in 1930 in Luxembourg .
