Beltersrot is a hamlet in the part of the district Westernach of the municipality of Kupferzell in Hohenlohekreis in north-eastern Baden-Württemberg .

geography

Beltersrot is located in front of the eastern edge of the Waldenburg mountains about 130 meters below in the beginning of the Hohenlohe plain . At a distance of about one kilometer, the Mühlberg rises in the southwest , as well as the Friedrichsberg with its widely recognizable transmission tower to the northwest . Created between them close to Rößlesmahdsee the Belter Red Bach , who from there through the steep priests sounded flows to the valley, now in its flat course runs through the village and then after a total of about three kilometers to the east in copper in the northbound current upper copper flows.

history

In 1245 the place was first mentioned as Balderichezroden , which probably means: clearing of the Balderich.

In 1807 the place was assigned to the Patrimonialvogteiamt Waldenburg (Württemberg) , 1809/1810 to the community (Schultheißenamt) Westernach .

Beltersrot came together with Westernach as part of the community reform on January 1, 1972 to join the newly formed community of Kupferzell through a merger.

Traffic connection

Of Remaining Hausen and B 19 in the east a county road sequence results (in sections, K 2563, K 2364 and K 2363) westward by copper after Beltersrot and then a steep climbing route Pfaff blade , where high then Waldenburg is achievable over a short distance. At the top there is also a connection to the L 1046. To the north, a municipal road leads on the lower mountain slope over holey wood and the K 2364 in the plain directly to Westernach . The Kupferzell motorway junction of the A 6 can be reached after a good 5 km on the B 19 . The next rail connection is in Waldenburg, on the shortest road it is less than five kilometers away.
