Benjamin Bourigeaud (born January 14, 1994 in Calais ) is a French football player who plays for Stade Rennes in midfield.

Career

Benjamin Bourigeaud joined the youth department of RC Lens in 2005 after playing for an amateur club from the Calais region. He started playing for Lens' second team in 2012. He made his debut for the professional team on November 11, 2013 in a 2-2 draw at Chamois Niortais in Ligue 2 . In the years that followed, he gradually received more hours of play and became an important part of the first team.

At the beginning of the 2017/18 season, Bourigeaud moved to Stade Rennes in Ligue 1 for an estimated transfer fee of 3.5 million euros , where he signed a contract until 2021. He made his Ligue 1 debut on August 5, 2017 against ES Troyes AC . He scored his first goal against Olympique Lyon 6 days later . He won the 2018/19 French Cup with Rennes .

In 2014 he played two games for the French U-20 national team at the Toulon tournament .
