Benjamin Phiri
Benjamin S. Phiri (born June 14, 1959 in Chongololo ) is a Zambian Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Ndola .
Life
Benjamin Phiri received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Lusaka on September 14, 1986 .
On January 15, 2011 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . the titular bishop of Nachingwea and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Chipata . The retired Archbishop of Lusaka, Medardo Joseph Cardinal Mazombwe , donated him episcopal ordination on April 9 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Zambia, Archbishop Nicola Girasoli , and the Bishop of Chipata, George Cosmas Zumaire Lungu .
On July 3, 2020, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Ndola. The inauguration took place on August 15 of the same year.
