Six private wineries in Höhnstedt, Seeburg and Rollsdorf as well as several large fruit-growing companies and around 100 part-time winemakers as members of the Freyburg / U winegrowers' association. cultivate the vineyards in the Mansfeld Lakes area and market most of the harvest. The predominantly dry wines are mainly marketed under the "Höhnstedter Kelterberg" location.

In Werder (Havel) the vineyards are run by private winemakers and supported by a support association. The main grape varieties are Dornfelder , Regent , Müller-Thurgau, Kernling , Saphira and Sauvignon Blanc .
