Berlin Marathon 1989

The Berlin Marathon 1989 (officially: Real Berlin Marathon 1989 ) was the 16th edition of the annual running event in West Berlin , Federal Republic of Germany . The marathon took place on October 1, 1989.

Alfredo Shahanga won the men in 2:10:11 h, and the women Päivi Tikkanen in 2:28:45 h.
