Bernard James Murphy
Bernard James Murphy CR (born December 27, 1918 in Preston , † May 22, 1974 ) was Bishop of Hamilton in Bermuda .
Life
Paul Leonard Hagarty joined the order of the Resurrectionists and was ordained a priest on June 3, 1944 . Pope Paul VI appointed him on June 12, 1967 Bishop of Hamilton in Bermuda .
He was ordained episcopal by the Apostolic Delegate in the United Kingdom , Igino Eugenio Cardinale , on September 1 of the same year; Co-consecrators were Philip Francis Pocock , Koadjutorerzbischof of Toronto , and Paul Francis Reding , Auxiliary Bishop in Hamilton .
