Bernardo Nicolás Cuesta (born December 20, 1988 in Álvarez ) is an Argentine football player .

Club career

Bernardo Nicolás Cuesta learned to play football in the youth team of CA Tiro Federal in Rosario (Santa Fe) . Here he signed his first contract in 2008. The club played in the second division, the Primera B Nacional . In 2012 he moved to Peru and signed a contract dated until 2016 with FBC Melgar in Arequipa . With the club he played 145 times in the first division, the Primera División , scoring 71 goals. From January to July 2015 he was loaned to Bolivia . Here he played in the first division, the Liga de Fútbol Profesional Boliviano , for Club The Strongest from La Paz . In 2017 he moved to Colombia , where he joined Atlético Junior . The club from Barranquilla played in the first division of the country, the Categoría Primera A . After 13 games, he left the club in late August. On September 1, he signed a contract with the Chilean club CD Huachipato in Talcahuano . Here he played six times in the first division, the Primera División, until the end of 2017 . In 2018 he went back to Peru, where he was under contract with his former club FBC Melgar until August 2019. From the end of August 2019 to the beginning of 2020 he was without a contract and without a club. For the 2020 season he signed a contract in Thailand with the first division club Buriram United in Buriram . After four games in the first division, the contract was terminated in mid-2020. In mid-July 2020, the Mexican first division club Puebla from Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza signed him.
