Bernardo Maria Tirabassi , also Bernardino Maria Tirabassi (born May 26, 1801 in Rotella , † January 2, 1865 in Ferentino ) was an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Ferentino .

Life

The ordination received Bernardo Maria Tirabassi on 31 March 1827. On 6 November the same year he was. Teacher of philosophy at the Seminary of Montalto In April 1827 he entered the service of the Curia as auditor of the Apostolic Nutiature in Lucerne under Pietro Ostini . He then became minutant of the State Secretariat and in April 1842 chargé d'affaires of the Holy See to the Grand Duke of Tuscany .

Pope Gregory XVI appointed him on January 20, 1845 Bishop of Ferentino. He was ordained bishop on February 23rd of the same year by the Bishop of Jesi , Cardinal Cosimo Barnaba Corsi ; Co- consecrators were Fabio Maria Asquini , Latin Patriarch of Constantinople , and Antonio Fernando José de Echánove y Zaldívar , Archbishop of Tarragona .
