Bernbach is a district of the municipality of Bidingen in the Swabian district of Ostallgäu .

Bernbach is located in the Allgäu planning region two and a half kilometers west of Bidingen. The altitude is 782 m above sea level .

history

The Catholic parish church of St. John the Baptist was built in the 15th and 16th centuries. Century, the lower part of the tower from the 12th / 13th centuries. Century. A baroque redesign took place in 1766. The municipality of Bernbach was founded in 1818 by the Bavarian municipal edict. Bernbach was officially called "Bärnbach" from 1875 to 1912.
