Bernd Korzynietz (born September 8, 1979 in Würzburg ) is a former German football player .
Career
societies
The former defender, who played in his youth at TSV Güntersleben and in 1995 for a year in the youth team of 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 , started his professional career in 1996. He played in Schweinfurt until 1999, when he moved to the then second division Borussia Mönchengladbach . He stayed there for six years and was promoted to the Bundesliga with the club in 2001 . In Mönchengladbach he was first used as a striker until Hans Meyer retrained him as a full-back.
For the 2005/06 season he moved to Bundesliga club Arminia Bielefeld , for whom he was an integral part of the four-man defense chain . After Korzynietz had lost his regular seat and was last relegated to the stands, his contract, which was valid until 2009, was terminated prematurely and he moved to VfL Wolfsburg . But he was not happy in Wolfsburg either and only played two missions for the second team. Therefore, in January 2009 he moved to the second division club MSV Duisburg . His contract, which expired in July 2010, was not extended, so he took part in the VDV camp for unemployed footballers.
National team
Korzynietz played five times between 2002 and 2004 in the 2006 team , the DFB's perspective team , and scored two goals. He was also active 15 times in the U-21 national team from 1999 to 2001, but without scoring a goal.
Coaching career
After his active career, he first acquired the UEFA B level (former B license) and then the UEFA A level (former A license). He is also a certified kinetics trainer.
At SG Wattenscheid 09 he trains the U10 youth team in the 2016/17 season, where his second-born son also plays.
