The Berndebach is a four and a half kilometers long, southwest and left tributary of the Nuttmecke in the area of ​​the city of Attendorn in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Olpe .

The Berndebach rises south of the forester's house Ebbe at an altitude of about 583  m above sea level. NHN in a forest in the Berndebachtal nature reserve .

From its source , the stream in the nature reserve flows first a good two kilometers in a southeastern direction and then a good one kilometer in a northeastern direction through a wooded valley. To the east of the Hebberge corridor, it is strengthened on the left by the Apoller Siepen .

The Berndebach then reaches the Attendorn district of Lichtringhausen and flows through the village in an almost eastern direction. At the eastern edge of the village, the Biekebach, coming from the south, flows to him on his right .

Shortly thereafter, the Berndebach crosses under the L 697 ( Plettenberger Straße ), runs in a north-northeast direction parallel to the country road along a series of small ponds and finally flows into the Attendorn district of Nuttmecke at an altitude of about 262  m above sea level.
