Bernhard Fechtig (born January 6, 1993 in Dornbirn ) is an Austrian ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with EHC Linz in the Erste Bank Ice Hockey League .
Career
Fechtig played for the first time in the 2009/10 season in the Austrian senior division, where he played 23 games in the fourth-class regional league for the SPG Dornbirn / Lustenau . But in the 2010/11 season he was in the squad of the national league team EC Dornbirn , but also came on loan in the second team of HC Innsbruck in the major league and in their U20 selection.
In the 2011/12 season he also played his first games on loan in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga for the Austrian record champions EC KAC . For the 2012/13 season he was signed by the reigning Austrian champions EHC Linz .
In January 2018, Fechtig was loaned to the EC Graz 99ers .
International
Fechtig played for Austria's junior teams at the U18 Junior World Championship in Division I 2010 , the U20 Junior World Championship in Division I in 2011 , the U18 Junior World Championship in Division II in 2011 and the U20 Junior World Championship in Division IA 2012 . With the U18 selection, he made it back to Division I in 2011 after the team had only been relegated the previous year.
