Bernhard Müller-Hahl

Bernhard Müller-Hahl (born March 31, 1918 in Erpfting , † March 17, 1985 in Kaufering ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Career

Müller-Hahl attended elementary and high school in Landsberg am Lech and entered the civil service in 1936, for which he worked in the district offices in Weilheim , Donauwörth and Bad Aibling . In 1939 he passed the examination for the higher state administration service, a little later he was drafted into military service, among other things with the 1st and 4th Mountain Divisions as a battalion leader. He was wounded five times in the process, but also received top honors. In 1945 he was a founding member of the CSU and the Junge Union in Landsberg am Lech. He was involved in the reconstruction in the function of the municipal clerk at the district office, and he was also a member of several boards of sports and cultural associations. In 1952 he moved into the district council and the district committee. In 1958 he was elected for the first time to the district administrator of the Landsberg am Lech district and remained in office until 1984. In 1966 he was elected directly to the Bavarian State Parliament in the district of Landsberg-Stadt und -Land , to which he belonged for an electoral term until 1970.
