Bernhardshof is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Kirchschlag municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 18 building areas with 8,257 m² and 6 gardens on 237 m² in the cadastral parish of Bernhardshof , in 1989/1990 there were 23 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 40 and in 2009/2010 there were 29 buildings on 68 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 128 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 7 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 126 hectares and 9 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 123 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 9 hectares. Bernhardshof's average soil climate number is 19.7 (as of 2010).
