Kienings is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Kirchschlag municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 8 building areas with 4,363 m² and 1 garden on 304 m² in the cadastral community of Kienings , in 1989/1990 there were 11 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 18 and in 2009/2010 there were 11 buildings on 25 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 63 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 16 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 60 hectares and 20 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 57 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 20 hectares. The average soil climate number of Kienings is 18.9 (as of 2010).
