Roggenreith is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Kirchschlag municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 30 building areas with 15,380 m² and 3 gardens on 243 m² in the cadastral community Roggenreith , in 1989/1990 there were 43 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 71 and in 2009/2010 there were 44 buildings on 73 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 175 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 535 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 159 hectares and 546 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 156 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 544 hectares. The average soil climate of Roggenreith is 19.3 (as of 2010).
