Pleßberg is a village and as Plessberg a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Kirchschlag in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 17 building areas with 9,719 m² and 6 gardens on 2,259 m² in the cadastral community of Plessberg , in 1989/1990 there were 17 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 52 and in 2009/2010 there were 39 buildings on 86 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 144 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 51 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 142 hectares and 54 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 133 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 60 hectares. The average soil climate number of Plessberg is 15.2 (as of 2010).
