Bernreith is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Ottenschlag municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 32 building areas with 15,455 m² and 15 gardens on 1,259 m² in the cadastral community of Bernreith , in 1989/1990 there were 32 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 68 and in 2009/2010 there were 54 buildings on 78 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 206 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 194 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 195 hectares and 200 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 184 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 205 hectares. The average soil climate number of Bernreith is 28 (as of 2010).
