Neuhof is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Ottenschlag municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 46 building areas with 15,557 m² and 14 gardens on 2,149 m² in the cadastral community Neuhof , in 1989/1990 there were 46 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 101 and in 2009/2010 there were 80 buildings on 127 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 158 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 510 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 120 hectares and 540 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 117 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 536 hectares. Neuhof's average soil climate number is 26.7 (as of 2010).
