Jungschlag is a place and a cadastral municipality of the Ottenschlag municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 15 building areas with 5,925 m² and 1 garden on 90 m² in the cadastral community of Jungschlag , in 1989/1990 there were 16 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 36 and in 2009/2010 there were 25 buildings on 48 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 137 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 17 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 118 hectares and 34 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 116 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 36 hectares. Jungschlag's average soil climate number is 19.3 (as of 2010).
