Besanders is an inhabited part of the municipality Lenzerwische of the office Lenzen-Elbtalaue in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

geography

The place is six kilometers northwest of Wootz , the seat of the municipality of Lenzerwische and 13 kilometers west-northwest of Lenzen (Elbe) , the seat of the Lenzen-Elbtalaue office.

Neighboring locations are Expansion and Klein Schmölen in the north, Groß Schmölen , Polz and Breetz in the northeast, Unbranded in the southeast, Grippel in the south, and Langendorf and Baarz in the northwest.

history

Around 1800 the place belonged to the Lenzen district in the province of Prignitz ; part of the Kurmark of the Mark Brandenburg . In a description of the Margraviate of Brandenburg from 1804, the 5¼ Hufen village "Besendet" is given with a total of 103 inhabitants and the owner of the dike is named Jagow zu Rühstedt. In the village, which belonged to Lenzerwische and thus to Kietz at that time , there was a whole farmer, two Büdner, three Kossaten, five granny-farmers and seven half-farmers. In addition, there were 13 campfire sites, the residents were parish in the Lenzen inspection area after Kiez and the address was also Lenzen.

On July 1, 1950, the previously independent municipality of Gaarz was incorporated.

Since October 26, 2003 Besritten has been an inhabited part of the municipality of Lenzerwische.
