Unbranded is an inhabited part of the municipality Lenzerwische of the office Lenzen-Elbtalaue in the district of Prignitz in Brandenburg .

geography

The place is five kilometers northwest of Wootz , the seat of the municipality of Lenzerwische and twelve kilometers west of Lenzen (Elbe) , the seat of the Lenzen-Elbtalaue office.

Neighboring towns are Klein Schmölen and Groß Schmölen in the north, Polz and Breetz in the northeast, Kietz in the southeast, Pretzetze and Grippel in the south, Gusborn in the west, and Langendorf and Besendung in the northwest.

history

Around 1800 the place belonged to the Lenzen district in the province of Prignitz ; part of the Kurmark of the Mark Brandenburg . In a description of the Margraviate of Brandenburg from 1804, the 8½ Hufen village "Unsanded" with a total of 165 inhabitants is recorded and the owner of the dike is named Jagow zu Rühstedt. In the village, which belonged to Lenzerwische and thus to Kietz at the time, a Lehnschulze, a Kossät, five whole farmers, nine residents and eleven half-farmers worked here. In addition, there were 18 campfire sites, the residents were parish in the Lenzen inspection area after Kiez and the address was also Lenzen.

On July 1, 1961, the place was incorporated into Besanders. Unbranded has been an inhabited part of the municipality of Lenzerwische since October 26, 2003.
