Bettina Wilpert (* 1989 in Eggenfelden ) is a German writer .

Bettina Wilpert studied cultural studies , English and literary writing in Potsdam , Berlin and Leipzig . She was u. a. Finalist of the 23rd Open Mike , scholarship holder of the 20th Klagenfurt literary course, artist in residence at PROSANOVA 2017 and scholarship holder of the authors' workshop Prosa 2017 of the Berlin Literary Colloquium. In 2018 she published her debut novel “nothing that happens to us”, which was largely received positively by the critics and discussed in connection with the current debate about sexual violence.
