The Küssnacht district is a district in the canton of Schwyz in Switzerland . As with Einsiedeln and Gersau , the political municipality and district form a unit.

The towns of Küssnacht , Immensee and Merlischachen , which each form their own Roman Catholic parishes, and the hamlet of Haltikon belong to the political community of Küssnacht . The Reformed parish includes the entire district; as a diaspora community , around 12 percent of the population belong to it.
