Uznach district

The Uznach district was an administrative unit of the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland from 1803 to 1831 .

Since the founding of the canton of St. Gallen in 1803, the Uznach district consisted of the communities of Amden , Weesen , Schänis , Benken , Kaltbrunn , Uznach , Ernetschwil , St. Gallenkappel , Gommiswald , Schmerikon , Eschenbach , Goldingen , Jona and Rapperswil .

In 1831 the Uznach district was divided into the Gaster district and the See district.
