District Office Pfullendorf
The Pfullendorf district office , based in Pfullendorf , a town in today's Sigmaringen district in Baden-Württemberg , was a Baden district office from 1809 to 1936 . The former imperial city of Pfullendorf had been the seat of the Obervogteiamt Pfullendorf in the Grand Duchy of Baden since 1807 .
The Pfullendorf district office, established in 1809, belonged to the Seekreis with the capital Constance . Up until the final dissolution of the Heiligenberg District Office in 1849, some communities switched back and forth between the Heiligenberg and Pfullendorf district offices. In the 1840s the Pfullendorf district office had to cede some places to the Meßkirch district office .
In 1863 the state commissioner district of Konstanz was created, which also included the Pfullendorf district office.
In 1936 the Pfullendorf District Office was abolished and the communities incorporated into the Überlingen District Office .
