Bianca Döring

Bianca Döring (full name: Anne-Bianca Döring , * 1957 in Schlitz / Vogelsberg ) is a German writer , musician and painter .

Life

Bianca Döring studied German language and literature , music , polytechnics and educational science from 1976 to 1988 at the Trossingen University of Music and at the universities in Marburg and Kassel . In addition, she completed a vocal training . From 1980 she worked in kindergartens, in geriatric care, in hospitals and factories. She is active as a performance artist, painter and has appeared as a singer since 1987 . After a first volume of poetry in 1978, further publications with poetry and prose have appeared since 1990 . In 1992 she took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt . Bianca Döring trained as a singing and creative therapist and, as such, also looks after sick and handicapped people; she also runs writing workshops . She lives in Berlin .

Bianca Döring has been a member of the PEN Center Germany since 1999 . She received u. a. The following awards: 1990 the Kulturförderpreis of the city of Kassel , 1991 a scholarship from the Künstlerhaus Edenkoben , 1992 the art price of the city of Frankfurt am Main , 1992 a scholarship from the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart , 1995 a scholarship from the Heinrich-Heine-Haus in Lüneburg and 1999 Martha-Saalfeld-Förderpreis of the state Rhineland-Palatinate .
