Mario Bilate (born July 16, 1991 in Moscow ) is a Dutch football player who last played for RKC Waalwijk .

Career

Mario Bilate was born in Moscow to an Ethiopian and a Russian woman. He began his football career in the Netherlands , where he emigrated with his family in the 1990s . First he played in the youth of Sparta Rotterdam , then at XerxesDZB from the Rotterdam district of Zevenkamp . Here he was for the club, which played in the Eredivisie in the 1960s , in the 2010/11 season for the first time in the men's team, which now only played in the Hoofd class . In January 2011, Bilate returned to Sparta . For the then second division team , he played 77 games in three years by the end of the 2013/14 season , in which he scored 17 goals. In July 2014, the striker moved to the Scottish first division club Dundee United for free , with whom he signed a two-year contract. He made his debut on matchday 1 of the 2014/15 season against FC Aberdeen when he came on for Gary Mackay-Steven . Three days later he scored the winning goal in the game against FC Motherwell after a substitution for Keith Watson . By the end of the season he came to a total of 14 missions due to injury. With United he reached the final of the Scottish League Cup , which was lost to Celtic Glasgow in his debut season . In November 2015, his contract in Dundee was terminated . A year later, however, he played again. Bilate signed a contract with FC Den Bosch . Another year later he played for FC Emmen . Next year he signed with RKC Waalwijk , rose a year later with Waalwijk and made his debut in the Eredivisie against VVV-Venlo on August 3, 2019 (1: 3).
