Billerbeck is a district of the town of Horn-Bad Meinberg in the district of Lippe , North Rhine-Westphalia . It was first mentioned in 1115 in the inventory of the Corvey abbot Erkanbert. In the village lies the Norderteich , also mentioned in a document in 1115 , which has been a nature reserve since 1949.
history
On January 1, 1970 Billerbeck was incorporated into the new municipality of Bad Meinberg-Horn . This was renamed Horn-Bad Meinberg on September 10, 1970 .
Public facilities
The Belle / Billerbeck fire fighting train was created by merging in 1984 and has 31 active members and 7 youth fire fighters.
