Billy Goldenberg

William Leon "Billy" Goldenberg (born February 10, 1936 in Brooklyn , New York City , † August 3, 2020 in Manhattan , New York City) was an American film composer and songwriter .

Life

Goldenberg wrote the music for the Universal series Kojak and Columbo . He composed the music for the film Duell by Steven Spielberg in 1971 . In 1968 he was the musical director for Elvis Presley's NBC TV special "ELVIS". Goldenberg worked almost exclusively for television.

He has received two Emmy awards in his career .
