William John Miller, II (born September 17, 1979 in Tulsa , Oklahoma ) is an American actor , who became famous for the soaps All My Children and Shadow of Passion .

Life

Miller was born in Tulsa , Oklahoma and raised in Grand Prairie , Texas . Miller is the middle child and the only son of three children. As a child, Miller spent five years at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children , which he now supports in an organization. He visited the Mirabeau. B Lamar High School in Arlington , Texas and the University of Texas at Austin .

Career

After graduating from high school, Miller moved to Los Angeles where he started a job in a mail room. He's also worked for several commercials for Electronic Arts , including The Sims , JC Penney , Pizza Hut and pokerparty.com.

At the age of 24 he had a pre-stage for a role in the soap Young and Passionate - How Life Works , which he did not get and therefore lost his management and his agency. He took a two-year break. In 2006 he got his first series role in an episode of CSI: Miami . The following year he got the role of Richie Novak in the ABC Soap All My Children . In this role he was seen from August 2007 to August 2008, before his role died a series death. Shortly after leaving the series, he was hired for the television series Shadow of Passion , in which he has played the role of Billy Abbott since September 19, 2008 . For this role he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2010 and 2011 , which he even won in 2010 .

He also made a guest appearance in Justified and appeared in the films Remembering Nigel , Ripper and Fatal Honeymoon . In 2011 he had a supporting role as Charlie Young on The CW television series Ringer .
