Birgaon is a city in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh .
Birgaon is a northern suburb of Raipur in the Raipur district . The city has had the status of a municipal corporation since July 22, 2014 and is divided into 40 wards . At the 2011 census, the city had 96,000 inhabitants. After several incorporations, the population was around 108,500 in 2016. The city area is 36.85 km².
