The diocese of Divinópolis ( lat. : Dioecesis Divinopolitanus ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Divinópolis in the state of Minas Gerais .

history

The diocese Divinópolis was on July 11, 1958 by Pope Pius XII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Qui a Christo from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte and the Diocese of Aterrado and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte as a suffragan .
