The Bistum Dundo ( lat. : Dioecesis Dundensis ) is in Angola preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Dundo . It includes the province of Lunda Norte .

history

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Angoliae evangelizandae on November 9, 2001 from cession of territory by the Diocese of Saurimo and it was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Luanda as a suffragan diocese. On April 12, 2011 it became part of the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Saurimo .
