The Diocese of Gumaca ( lat. : Dioecesis Gumacana ) is the Philippines located Roman Catholic diocese based in Gumaca .

The diocese of Gumaca was established on April 9, 1984 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Iure Meritoque from cessions of territory from the diocese of Lucena and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Lipa as a suffragan .

It covers the southeastern part of Quezon Province .
