The Diocese of Itapipoca ( Latin Dioecesis Itapipocana , Portuguese Diocese de Itapipoca ) is in Brazil located Roman Catholic diocese based in Itapipoca in the state of Ceará .
history
The diocese of Itapipoca was on March 13, 1971 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Qui summopere from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Fortaleza and the Diocese of Sobral . It was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Fortaleza as a suffragan .
