history

The diocese of Manono was on April 24, 1971 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Qui regno Christi from cessions of territory from the dioceses of Baudouinville , Kilwa and Kongolo and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Lubumbashi as a suffragan .
