history

The diocese of Nalgonda was on May 31, 1976 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Animarum utilitati from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Hyderabad and the Diocese of Warangal and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Hyderabad as a suffragan .
