The Diocese of Xochimilco ( Spanish diócesis de Xochimilco ) is in Mexico located Roman Catholic diocese headquartered in to Mexico City belonging to the municipality of Xochimilco .

Cathedral of San Bernardino de Siena

The diocese of Xochimilco was established on September 28, 2019 by Pope Francis from cession of territory to the Archdiocese of Mexico City and subordinated to it as a suffragan diocese. First Bishop was Andrés Vargas Peña .

The diocese of Xochimilco includes the municipalities of Xochimilco, Tláhuac and Milpa Alta .
