The Diocese of Iztapalapa ( Latin Dioecesis Iztapalapensis , Spanish diócesis de Iztapalapa ) is in Mexico located Roman Catholic diocese headquartered in to Mexico City belonging to the municipality Iztapalapa .

The diocese of Iztapalapa was established on September 28, 2019 by Pope Francis from cession of territory to the Archdiocese of Mexico City and subordinated to it as a suffragan diocese. The first bishop was Jesús Antonio Lerma Nolasco .

The diocese of Iztapalapa comprises the municipality of Iztapalapa.
