Blanca Flor (also: Localidad Blanca Flor or Comunidad Blanca Flor ) is a town in the Pando department in the lowlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Blanca Flor is the most populous city of the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) San Lorenzo in the province of Madre de Dios and is located at an altitude of 175  m on the left, the northwest shore of Beni River , the farther downstream in Riberalta with the Río Madre de Dios united .

The town of Blanca Flor is located in the Bolivian part of the Amazon basin in the northern part of the country, about 1,520 kilometers south of the border with Brazil as the crow flies.

The mean average temperature of the region is 27 ° C and fluctuates only marginally between a good 25 ° C in June / July and 28 ° C from September to November (see Sena climate diagram). Of Cobija from 370 kilometers takes highway Ruta 13 east over Porvenir to Puerto Rico , where they the orthon river crossing, and then continue in a southwesterly direction over El Sena on Río Madre de Dios and Naranjal to El Triangulo (El Choro) . At Naranjal, a side street branches off to the south and reaches Blanca Flor after a further twenty kilometers.
