The Savior is a German TV film by Franziska Meletzky from 2011 . It is the nineteenth episode of the Bloch television series .

action

Cornelius, Bloch's former mentor, has died. He leaves the younger colleague a library and the associated patients, among whom is the craftsman Martin Weidner, who preaches in front of the Cologne Cathedral without being noticed by other people. Until one day the young cyclist Sara falls over motionless at the cathedral and he can bring the young woman back to life with the words of Jesus , which he spoke to bring a dead person back to life. When a similar situation arises again, Martin is given the name "The Savior". His daughter Judith is skeptical about the whole thing and asks Bloch to help her father, but also to get to the bottom of the truth behind the stories. Meanwhile, Bloch's son Tommy is increasingly turning to Christianity , which is why the psychotherapist also deals with his own faith.
