Gerda Böken

Gerda Böken (* 1932 ) is a German film and theater actress .

Life

Gerda Böken was raised by her mother alone after her father was arrested as a communist two days after her birth and sent to the Dachau concentration camp . She has been married twice and has two children. Böken worked as a board secretary, temporarily also in Somalia . After the divorce from her second husband, she took dance lessons, joined the TSC Excelsior club in Cologne and took part in class S dance tournaments. Böken attended the Cologne Theater Academy and founded a theater group, which she gave up after three productions. From 1994 she took singing lessons with Gabriele Gzella. She lives in Cologne .
